Where: Koshland Science Musuem, 6th and E Streets NW

Speaker: Dr. Keith Lampel, Director of the Division of Microbiology within the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition at the Food and Drug Administration

Topic: Bacteria Lab: What's growing in your home? (2-part program)

Notes: Become an investigative scientist and view firsthand the invisible world of bacteria that surrounds us. At the first session on July 9, participants learn how to gather bacteria samples and are given lab equipment to do the same on their own. At the July 16 session, the results of the at-home experiments will be examined and discussed.
