Chapter Event: Networking Dinner with GWIS Omicron Chapter   Print 

Saturday, September 29 2007, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

After our successful joint spring event, we are holding our second joint event with the Graduate Women in Science Omicron Chapter on Saturday, September 29th, 2007. Please join us for a networking social dinner at the Capitol City Brewing Company. We will have great choices from a set dinner menu (please see below) for a charge of $17.95 per person (not including tax and gratuity)

This restaurant is located very close to the Metro Center station (Red, Orange, Blue, and with easy access to the other Metro lines) and the AAAS building. Parking at that time of the evening should be relatively easy too.

Capitol City Brewing Company - Seated Dinner Menu #1
Per person: $17.95 / $21.95 (with dessert) - Does not include tax (10%) or house charge (20%)

Starters
-Salad of assorted greens and vegetables served with balsamic dressing or Cup of Soup du Jour 

Entrees
-Admiral’s Fish & Chips
Atlantic Cod coated in our own beer batter and deep fried.  Served with creamy Cole slaw, brew fries, old bay tartar sauce and lemon wedges.
-Crispy Fried Chicken Salad
Breaded chicken breast tenders, served with fresh greens, cheddar cheese, roasted corn, julienne red peppers, carrots and honey mustard.  Topped with crispy onion straws.
-The Roadhouse BBQ Plate
A half rack of hickory smoked St. Louis ribs smothered in our Chipotle bbq sauce served with a corn muffin, creamy Cole slaw and brew fries.
-Citrus Herb Grilled Chicken
Our own marinade and grilled chicken breast served with cilantro rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables.
-Grilled Portobello Sandwich
Marinated and grilled Portobello mushroom stacked atop, sliced tomatoes, red onion and jack cheese on a whole wheat bun.  Served with a small garden salad with balsamic dressing on the side.

Desserts
-Brownie cake wedge with whipped cream or Vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate sauce
