Learn about the significant contributions women are making in the diverse field of agriculture. Date: September 14, 2006 Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location: Stamp Union Grand Ballroom, University of Maryland, College Park

9:00 – 10:00 a.m.: optional campus tour
10:00 a.m. – noon: displays and exhibits
12:30 – 1:15 p.m.: keynote address by Dr. Phyllis Wise, provost of the University of Washington and former dean of agriculture and life sciences at UC-Davis
1:30 – 3:30 p.m.: Panel presentations will focus on the exchange of ideas on various topics related to women, agriculture, and science led by women in diverse careers including consumer advisor, veterinarian, botanist, and many others. Panelists are:
