The VEF Board seeks an Executive Director to take this organization to new heights of success while working with the Board to refine and enhance VEF’s strategic vision. The Executive Director must have an understanding of the administrative and regulatory requirements of Washington and the ability to operate comfortably in Vietnam.

The Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) was established by an Act of the United States Congress in 2000 and as such, is a Federal entity that follows procedures of a U.S. government agency. Designed to foster educational exchange between the United States and Vietnam, this bipartisan initiative was sponsored by Congressional members who were Vietnam veterans and had support from heads of several national educational organizations and leaders of thirty-nine American universities and colleges.
