It's easy and rewarding to join national AWIS. There are three membership categories: individual member, corporate member, institutional member. Membership forms and benefits for each categoy can be found on the National AWIS website.

Individual Member 

To join AWIS, you can fill out the online membership application or print out a PDF form and mail/fax it to AWIS Membership at:

If you have previously been a member of AWIS please do not join as a new member, simply contact AWIS Member Services at the phone or email above to renew your membership.

Individual Member National AWIS Dues

Membership in National AWIS includes a subscription to the quarterly magazine, discounts on publications, discounts on Annual Review orders, and the opportunity to join local chapters of AWIS. The fair market value of a one-year subscription to the AWIS magazine is $24.00 and is covered in your annual dues payment. All dues and contributions in excess of this amount are tax-deductible as charitable contributions.

Individual Member Chapter Dues

Membership in a chapter is optional and provides local support and activities. All chapter members must be members of National AWIS. Chapter dues do not contribute toward National membership.

Student Member, Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter dues: $5
