Job Posting: Research Methodologist PDF Print E-mail

Tasks – Research Methodologist (1 FTE)

· Design and implement applied behavioral research studies, surveys, questionnaires, or self-assessments of NFIP, non-NFIP and Second Party activities; analyze and report on the resulting data for the SSC, IC members, and Other Government Agencies.

· Assist with baselining IC security practices using the self-inspections conducted by the Senior Officials of the IC.

· Assist IC components and Other Government Agencies in building performance measurement and evaluation systems within their respective organizations.

· Prepare reports and present briefings for senior officials and others, as required.
 
Qualifications – Research Methodologists

The Contractor’s proposed personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

· Demonstrated ability in conducting empirical research, surveys, and polling.

· Demonstrated ability in using quantitative techniques to help solve business or intelligence problems.

· Demonstrated ability to extract data contained in large databases and analyze that data to derive meaningful information.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, analyze problems, conduct independent research, filter and synthesize vast amounts of information and data, summarize findings succinctly, and present logical arguments.

· Demonstrated ability to write clearly and effectively.

· Working knowledge of quantitative methodology (e.g., statistical inference, operations research, or methodological design).

· Familiarity with the IC and its components, as well as its missions, disciplines, capabilities, and interrelationships.

· Advanced degree with a strong background and demonstrated experience in applied behavioral sciences research.

· Ability to successfully complete requisite processing for a Sponsor approved Industrial Staff-like Security Approval/TOP SECRET (ISSA/TS) with full scope polygraph, along with any required special compartmented accesses.
